Verdant Meadows
A collection heralding the oncoming of Spring.
Delicate floral motifs, tiny wildflower bouquets, ferns and petals in various thread embroidery techniques make an appearance, reminiscent of the Verdant Meadows.
Ochre, ivory, indigo, mellow yellow, melange blue, brick, teal, sunny yellow, vibrant green and pinkand an evening black comprise the colour palette.
Soft handwoven fabrics in khadi cotton and linen, a natural earthy hand feel, make up this limited edition offering. Selvedge detailing, placement embroideries, cross stitch embroideries and cutwork are used with restraint on the styles.
Pleated dresses, peplum sleeves, easy silhouettes, shift dresses, sleeveless maxis, asymmetric hemlines, hand embroidered light weight summer jackects, overlays, oversized summer tops, cropped coulottes are some of the silhouettes.
